These books are not in any specific order, just read them all. Your life will be more complete when you finish.
- The Lord of The Rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien -great, great book, specially meaningful if you are into fantasy and/or roleplaying.
- The Hobbit - Your daddy should have read this to you when you were 2 years old, an you should re-read it every once in a while
- The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupery - c'mon, it is a wonderful book, and its meaning changes entirely as you read it again and again. The older you get, the deeper effect the book has.
- Contact, by Carl Sagan - truly impressive work of science fiction, philosophy and scientific preaching. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the movie, and really worth to be read.
- The Demon-Hhaunted World: science as a candle in the dark, by Carl Sagan - This book should be of mandatory reading in every secondary school, and its content should be discussed in-depth for at least two months in every University. It is a non-fiction book dealing with modern mythology, putting apart science from superstition, and emphasizing the need of critical thinking. This one, more than read, you should have, and lend to everyone you can. Spread the word!
- The Da Vinci's Code, by Dan Brown - Very very good book, superbly structured, about ancient legends, secret societies, a hero and a heroine. Seriously, get the book, I cant say much without spoiling it, but believe me: you will believe that there is something going on, and won't be able to tell what in the book is fiction and what is reality.
- The Foundation Series, by Isaac Asimov - Do you like science fiction? READ THIS! Don't you like science fiction? You will like *this* one. It is amazing how master Asimov tied everything together in this series. It is hard to explain in short words, so I won't try to. Just read the books, they are fantastic!
- Harry Potter, by J. K. Rowling - Extremely commercial, but very very very entertaining set of books. A wonderful read.

2001, 2010, 2061, 3001, by Arthur Clarke
Anything by Jules Verne
